A Simple Way to Edit Your Photos
Adobe Lightroom is a very complicated app, but you don’t have to do too much to make your photos look great. Here is a simple way I edit my photos whenever I’m short on time or on the fly. All you have to do is follow along and you can start creating really awesome looking photos
Light Tab
Select Auto
Exposure: Leave as is or adjust based on sight
Contrast: +15-20
Highlights: -80-100
Shadows: -20-25
Whites/blacks: Hold down alt or hold down on screen while adjusting the slider. Go back and forth until red or black is gone or barely visible
Color
Leave all as is or toggle between all HSL tabs to find the colors that look best.
Switch between Auto or As Shot white balance and choose whichever looks best
Effects
Clarity: +15-20
Dehaze: +10-15. More if the picture is really hazy
Optional
Vignette: down 18-25
Midpoint, roundness, feather: increase each until the vignette is barely visible (not necessary)
Detail
Sharpening: +32-45
Masking: 80-90
Noise reduction: 30-40
Color noise reduction: 70-90
Optics
Turn on Remove Chromatic Aberration
Turn on Enable Lens Corrections
